The Minister for Justice has commenced the remaining sections of the Judicial Council Act 2019, which includes commencing a procedure for making and investigating complaints about a judge in Ireland. S.I. 489/2022 has the effect of enabling complaints be made in relation to allegations of judicial misconduct occurring on or after the 3rd of October 2022.
